Our authentication system uses cookies only to keep you logged in during your visit. These are neccessary to access this app.
AI Zero Retention Policy
We use OpenAI API under a Zero Retention Policy. Your data is not retained by OpenAI or used to train their models.
Temporary interactions
Your chat conversations aren't stored unless you enable auto-save. Once enabled for a conversation, it stays on and keeps saving. Unsaved interactions disappear when you close the browser.
Secure storage
Saved interactions are securely stored in a database accessible only to authorised developers for maintenance. This data is not subject to scrutiny.
Ethical analytics
We don't use tracking cookies or any hidden tracking methods. Your activity is private. We use open-source Umami to count anonymous visits - no personal data collection or profiling.
Your control
To delete saved data or sessions, contact us by using this form. We will remove all associated records as soon as we can.
Campus-only infrastructure
All data stays within the University of Edinburgh ecosystem and private servers.
